Yes it is quite good for a cat with crystals. If you are unsure or uncomfortable with just trying it you can talk to your vet about it and they can give you any information about it that you need.
Innova is a top of the line food, and should do well for you. The main thing I would watch with your cat's diet is the protein intake of any food that you choose. Cats with known kidney problems, such as stones or crystals, tend to do better on lower protein diets.
After reading the ingredients that Innova puts into it's Evo food, I would say yes. It is a balnaced diet that has been made from real fruits and vegetables, and doesn't contain the corn and grain by-products that are found in grocery store brands.
Aside from the dry food issue,I would like to address another issue regarding crystal and stone formation. I have no scientific proof to back up my claim, only experience with my
own cat, and 13 years as a CVT.
Innova Evo is known to produce good quality pet food. I have a cat with UTI crystals that have been on the Dr. Hill's Prescription c/d diet for years and have not have recurrences of crystals unless they were able to get into the IAMS kibble for the other cat. My vet only recommended this brand and it works.
