Hypnosis is actually the state of extreme relaxation. It has varying success rates, depending on "hypnotizability" and belief of the subject that it will work. Hypnosis will not cause a subject do do any ridiculous thing the hypnotist says, either. Hypnosis doing that is most likely faked.

Yes. It is totally real. My father delivered babies using hypnosis back in the early 60's. His patients had babies with NO anesthesia and felt NO pain. They laughed and talked during their delivery--using the doors to the hospital as their "ansethetic" when they entered the building. Yes, it's real.

Hypnosis is real, but there are different degrees of it and not everyone can be hypnotized. It all depends on your mindset and how relaxed you are.

Yes hypnosis is real. If the person who is a respected and trained professional in this field and you have an open mind, this will work. If a person were to walk in the dorr suspicious from the beginning.... maybe not so much. Many people have used hypnosis to loose weight, reduce anxiety and even quit smoking.

You have to be willing to be hypnotized for it to work. If you are skeptical and have a bad attitude towards it, you will not be able to let go and let the hypnosis work. It takes an open and creative person, but it can work. I know many people who have gone under a trance!
