Is "get lost" considered to be an etymology phrase?

I need to understand etymology phrases.

The term "etymology phrase" does not mean anything. If you mean that you need to know the etymology of a phrase, then "get lost" is not a phrase. You need something like "cute as a button".

That would not be considered an etymology phrase because its meaning is literal. An etymology phrase is one whose origins are not clear and whose interpretations are not obvious.
