It is completely normal for a dog to get the hiccups. It is especially frequent in puppies. Often the hiccuping will start soon after a meal. Hiccuping happens when the diaphragm, a muscle that separates the chest from the abdomen, involuntarily spasms, causing a sharp intake of air. The voice box cuts off the air and makes the "hiccup" sound.

Yes, they are completely normal! The cause is the same as in humans, an irritation in the diaphragm. This can be caused by overeating, excitement, nervousness, or eating too fast. They typically go away. If they persist for longer than a week, go see the vet.

Dogs hiccup for the same reason humans and other mammals do: a disturbed diaphragm. Just like with humans, the hiccups will eventually go away. While it may seem strange to see or hear your animal mimic something you experience yourself, it is very normal.

Dogs have the frequency for hiccups, just like humans. There is nothing to worry about a dog hiccuping as their digestive system and respiratory system are just trying to caliberate themselves.

It is most likely normal, but if it concerns you, you should have him checked out by a registered veterinarian. It's always better to be safe than sorry when it comes to pets.

This is a normal thing that may occur from time to time, as with humans. If your dog is hiccuping all day long and all the time than you should take him to be examined.
