I suppose backyard soccer might be fun to play for kids or people who enjoy soccer. I, personally, do not enjoy soccer in any way. So I would say no.

It is a great time to get together with your friends and kick a ball around. It is also very competitive and exciting. Everyone is of the same mentality.
