The Irish bull terrier is a good dog for children because this breed loves to play and will be very loyal to kids. They have lots of energy that the children will enjoy very much. It is important to show who the boss is in the family because they can be stubborn with weak owners.

An Irish Bull Terrier is good with small kids as long as it is raised properly. A dog's mannerisms are based mainly on their upbringing, and what behavior they learn as a puppy.

This breed is very intelligent and active. They ADORE children within their own family circle. They are extremely active, so daily exercise with the small children would be great. If they do not get brisk exercise they can become destructive - chewing or tearing at things. If properly trained they are a loyal loving breed.

Irish Staffordshire Bull Terriers are generally considered to be good with children, however, any dog can bite or snap if a child plays rough. Dogs and young children should not be left unsupervised together and you should work to teach your dog and children proper respect for each other.
