The juice of the aloe leaf is safe for dogs. Since aloe has purgative effects however, if a dog consumes too much of it, the dog can develop diarrhea.

Topical use of aloe is safe for most dogs, it is in some pet shampoos and skin conditioners. Ingesting aloe is a common health benefit for humans and dogs to help several conditions, just be careful since your dog many have different reactions than other dogs.

If given in a proper form it is. I gave my dog an aloe juice because he had not enough vitamins in his body.
