Yes, a Palmtop is another word for a Handheld Personal Computer, i.e. a pda. They are also known as H/PC. Examples of these palmtops would include handspring visor lineup, and the palm PDA lineup. These palm sized computational devices run modified versions of windows, or their own unique mobile software.

A PDA (personal digital assistant) is the same thing as a Palmtop, it's just another name the device is known by.

Yes, a Palmtop is just a particular brand of PDAs. A Palmtop has some features that a generic PDA does not.
