Not Nativity but I have had a lot of success getting older programs to run on XP by right clicking on Compatibility mode and selecting another OS. Try Windows 2000 first and work your way back if that doesn't work. You may want to chance your resolution as well.
Yes it is compatible with xp. I have installed it on both a xp computer and a vista computer and it runs really well. If you are having trouble installing it what I would recommend is checking to see if the computer can run the installer in a capability mode. This is a feature often included with new computers
