Metro seems to have clustered Pacific coast coverage, fairly comprehensive coverage in the middle states and decent coverage down the Eastern seaboard. You are best off accessing their website and plugging in your zipcode to see your coverage area. Coverage seems to be limited in the straight line from Montana down through the western states to Arizona/New Mexico.

metro pcs has service in the florida keys and part way up the east coast, california and michigan down to texas. the midwest is pretty spotty coverage wise.

The Eastern side of the Untied States offer metro pcs. It is pretty heavy in the New York and Florida area and growing every day.

Throughout most of the US, except North Dakota, Montana, Wyoming, Mississippi. Most areas of South Dakota, Alabama, Utah, Colorado, Kansas, Oregon, Washington, Idaho, and Nevada have limited coverage. Most major cities have good coverage.
