What do I need to know to use a Sprint phone with metro PCS?

You should only need the SIM card. Just take it to the store to get it unlocked. Metro PCS will have more phones in the store if you would like to purchase one of theirs.

Most phones won't work on other networks. They aren't able to program the phones to move networks. If the phone uses a sim card sometimes you can put the sim card for that network in the phone and have the shop program it for you.

Yes, you can use it with metro, but for that you will need to unlock your Sprint phone so you can use it.
