The Union's losses in the battle of Gettysburg were as follows, 3,155 killed, 14,530 wounded, and 5,365 missing. On the Confederate side there were anywhere between 2,600 and 4,500 killed, 12,800 wounded, and 5,250 missing. Definitive figures for casualties in this battle do not exist, only close approximations.
