In Texas, can you return a used car after purchasing it the same day?

I will depend your dealer. If you bought "as is" then you probably will not be able to return it. There are Lemon Laws that protect the buyer if the car is really junk. Normally the dealer would have to have lied in some way to return the car.

This is going to depend on your dealer. Usually if the car is purchased "as is" you will not be able to return it. They just want to get it off their hands ASAP.

If you received a car that is a "Lemon" there are such things as "Lemon Laws" that protect the buyer if a dealer sells them a junk car.

This is totally up to the dealer. You can try to return it, but unless you can show that you bought the car under false pretenses (dealership lied or misrepresented the car) you are at the mercy of the dealer and you are stuck with the car.

No, there isn't a law that says you can do that, in fact if you are buying a new car just signing the title over to you significantly devalues the car so you wont get all your money back.

It doesn't appear that TX has a lemon law, but you may want to inquire if they respect a "Warranty of Merchantability" which means a product sold has to perform the purpose it was sold for. However, in most states, if the seller states the vehicle is "AS IS" you are usually stuck.
