In France, what animals should I expect to see?

In France and in mainland Europe most of the land has been domesticated for some time. You will see regular domestic animals such as dogs, cats, horses, sheep, pigs, cows, mice, rats etc. In the wilder areas (i. e. the Alps and the Pyrennes Moutains) you may see Mountain Antelope or very rarely bear.

France has its fair share of domesticated animals so dogs, cats, and horses are all going to be seen. Though, there are some differences in wildlife. You can see Wolves, Red Foxes, Roe deer, wild boar, lynx. If you go near the ocean there are some dolphins. There are even some snakes and if you are lucky, praying Mantis.
