If you are refiling because the first filing was rejected by the court, pay particular attention to the reasons why and amend the application accordingly. Following the new and high complex bankruptcy laws early in the 2000s, it is wise to engage the service of an attorney to navigate the process.

Your bankruptcy attorney is the best source of information regarding a re-filing. A professional would be up-to-date on any changes in the laws.

How long ago did you file the first time? One is only allowed to file every six years so be mindful of the time frame.

Filing of chapter 7, it first hurts credit score and you cannot move easily to many jobs/businesses; It gives you financial re start/rescheduling of your debts controlled by the court. TELL THE TRUTH reasons of bankrurtcy : The real problem you are facing.

I believe that chapter 7 is when you put all of your debt into a consolidated amount and you have to pay off the lump sum. This is a bad hit to your credit and I think it stays on your credit report for at least 5 years. Chapter 7 is better than Chapter 11.

You can only file bankruptcy once every 9 years. If you are filing a second time I suggest you READ THE INFORMATION own how to be debt free.
