The answer to your question hinges on other issues than stopping. Are you more attracted to him than your boyfriend? Is the attraction deeper than physical? Is he attracted to you? If the answer to those and similar questions is "yes," my response is go for it. If it isn't the brother, "yes" indicates it will be someone else later.

The key here is out of site out of mind. Try and maintain your distance. However, it will always be a fact of life that attractions will be felt towards others. Maturity is not acting on them.
