If you have been married in the Catholic church and then divorce, you can remarry in the catholic church after first obtaining an anulment.

Being remarried in the Church requires having the first marriage annulled. According to sacramental theology, marriage reveals the permanent love and commitment of God in Christ to people and the Church. Hence marriage is a lifelong commitment, and it is why the church needs to be able to say this first marriage is not and was not truly a marriage.
