if your wall painted a cream color than the trim should be a gold color because it will make the cream color stand out and also it will bright the room and make it stand out more. also that wait you can put other color and gold picture out too

A lot of different colors can match with cream. A nice deep maroon color goes nicely with cream as well as a navy blue. I would stay away from orange or yellow as these can blend in to much, although a deep sunset orange might look good.

Cream is an extremely neutral color, so pretty much any color you like can be used for the trim. Just go out and pick your favorite option.

I think a light stained wood trim would be beautiful .
