The time for lyme disease to be cured depends on how much the disease has spread through the body and the length of time the disease has existed within the body. If the disease is caught early, antibiotics take between 14-28 days to cure the disease. Otherwise, factors such as autoimmunity and disease location increase the recovery time.

When taking the antibiotic to cure lyme disease it depends on the severity of the case and how infected the individual is. Once on the antibiotic though treatment usually takes up to 4 weeks.
