I was recently diagnosed with lyme disease, I have also noticed that my face is breaking out more and is numb in places, are they related?

People who are diagnosed with Lyme disease can also be affected by Bell's palsy if the disease has spread to the nervous system. This is a condition that can cause numbness and for the face to droop. This facial paralysis has a strong chance of clearing up, though it is not a guarantee- 85% within the first three weeks.

Yes,lyme disease can affect the face because it affects the nervous system and can develop facial muscle paralysis which causes patients to be numb in places.
