If I believe in God but have no relationship with him, will I go to heaven?

No the Bible says that even the demons believe and obviously they will not go to heaven. You must have a personal relationship with God by accepting Jesus Christ as your personal Lord and Saviour. This is what enables you to go to heaven.

In some faiths, including Judaism and Buddhism, good works and good thoughts will bring you to heaven regardless of faith.

Yes, it is a hard question, but I think that if you believe in God and believe in heaven, that you will go to heaven.

There is a verse in the Bible that even the demons believe in God. You can be a murderer and believe in God. Belief is not considered enough by Christians. The greatest commandment is to love God and act towards your neighbors like you would yourself.

I believe that it is all in faith. If you believe in him than sure you might still have a chance to go to heaven. In the bible, many people turn back near the end and say that they believe in him. People make mistake or don't follow his example. plus no one on earth can say you cant gotoheaven
