A presenter is a person who appears on stage to read the nominees of a certain category. They fill in some time by sharing information about nominees and maybe sharing a few jokes. Then, they ultimately reveal the winner of the category. It is a great honor to be asked to present to the winner.

"Presenter" is a British term for a show's host. A presenter might host an awards show, a television special, or a regularly scheduled series.
