Well the easiest way to identify a signature is to ask an art expert. If you have none locally you can try taking a picture and posting it on an art forum. Hopefully someone can i. d. it for you.
An autograph store. A place that has baseball cards and things like that either have a guy who can identify signatures or he can point you in the right direction.
Study the signature intently to try to see if you can at least identify a portion of the name. Sometimes, you can notice details, then search by these on Google.
