I have the numbers off of the block of a Daewoo engine. Is there any way to trace this?

You can't really trace engine block numbers like a Vin number. But you can do research on the web. Call the manufacturer they can give you the information you need.

You can give the number to the local police if it was stolen and they can distribute it to shops to look for but it can't be tracked down really.

yes you can. all you have to do is to take a white sheet of paper and a pencil preferably hb and then place the paper on the area to be traced and just make sketching with the help of the pencil. or else take a sheet of aluminium foil and place it over the area and make an inscription of the
