I have been bitten by something however I can not find the bugs, what could it have been?

Depending on where you're located, it could be a sand flea. They are tiny, almost invisible, flying insects that are well-known for biting. They are commonly found around coastal areas in the Southern United States. If the bite appeared when you woke up this morning, it could be bed bugs. They are quite common in urban areas.

It could've been a spider. You should go to the Dr's so it can be looked at and have a culture done if needed to prevent an infection.

I am assuming it was inside. The most popular but that is inside and bites are spiders. The bite will itch tremendously. The only true way of getting rid of this problem is to bug bomb the house
