Transplant on a warm, sunny day to an area that has good sandy drainage. Be sure you get the entire root ball when you dig it up (you don't have to worry about the roots that span out 6 to 12 feet). Water moderately once transplanted and use a good palm fertilizer (don't cut live/dead leaves! )

Well to transplant these trees, you have to make sure you plant in an area that has been fertilized for a period of 10 days.

If it is in the ground make sure you take alot of the surrounding dirt that it has been in and transplant that way. If it is in a pot or a bag you need to find the little tab that tells you how to do it.

Palms are very dependant on water so when transplanting them please make sure to give it plenty of water in other to remain healthy. Before you transplant it be sure to have suffecient water in the roots and to plant the palms full in its roots. So be careful and do it with caution.
