Violets should be planted in the fall or early spring. The planting area should be in shade or partial shade with morning sun. The soil should be well-drained, rich in organic matter, and evenly moist.

Violets grow easily outdoors. They are slow to germinate, so put seeds in early, under an eighth of an inch of soil. Then water thoroughly but only once. If you're in a warm zone, they should be planted in partial shade, not full sun. Despite being hardy plants, they will not tolerate frost or freezing.

Start by planting the seeds early because it takes a while for violets to grow and bloom. Make sure you use good potting soil mixed with regular dirt so you have nutrious soil. Also put something like miracle grow on the plants as instructed. Other than that violets pretty much do their thing.

Well, you just plant the seeds as indicated. Use some nutrient rich soil. Pretty basic instructions but make sure you follow a strict cultivating pattern.

Well basically plant the seeds accordingly and watch them grow. Use enriched soil and water it daily for optimum results.
