How should I treat a disease that has formed on my spruce tree?

If you're stuck with Cytospora canker only pruning will help. Fungicides do not help at all. Pruning is an art and requires quite some skill in Cytospora canker infested spruce trees. Get some expert help.

This depends on the type of disease. If it is a fungal infection there are anti fungal sprays you can buy. If it is parasite you can try killing the insects. Consult an arborealist for more in depth advice.

Identify where the problem is coming from- is it coming from insects or pests? If yes, then it is very bust to use chemicals to control and or keep away the insects. Another thing, cut off the infected branches of the spruce tree to prevent disease from spreading. Best thing is to use chemicals to keep insects at bay.
