First of all, It is illegal to try to rehabilitate any wild animal unless you are a licensed wildlife re-habilitator. Wild Rabbits are very hard to raise and chances are they will die unless you know what you are doing. Find a local wildlife re-habilitator and turn the rabbit over to a professional.

In many states it is illegal to take care of native wildlife. If you have injured or orphaned wildlife you should try to find a local wildlife rehabilitator. You can call your local Department of Fish and Game or equivalent to help find someone. In the mean time it is best to keep the rabbit someplace dark and quiet.

Open wounds should be covered with triple antibiotic ointment and a clean bandage. Ideally, it should be taken to an animal rescue site. Lacking that, a baby rabbit must be fed goat's milk with an eye dropper. An older rabbit will eat grass, lettuce, carrots, and other vegetables. When it is well or grown you can release it.

Try not to stress it out. Dont constantly pick it up or move it. If the rabbit is not a baby its ok to give it clean water. Look into a wild animal rescue or even a vet. Often times wild animals are injured internaly and there isnt much you can do.
