There is no way to remove the sap fromlumber the sap is coming out of the wood and it will do that until the lumber has dried out and cured.

I have always used a lite grit sand paper. Sand with the grain and be careful not to push down real hard. This could cause wood damage especially with sofe woods like pine. Otherwise, you could also use a wood cleaner that is available at home improvement stores. They have a large slection that will suit.

No, do not spend too much time worrying about the sap. It is a natural leakage of tree sap from the wood. Just pop off the dried chunk or use hot water to remove the smear from the wood surface.

Use fire to make it turn to liquid, then wipe it with a paper or something, you must be carefull and have some water near you because it is flamable.

One way that I know is to take the lumber and put it in a fire. Don't let it burn through and turn black but let it burn enough to dry out and let all of the sap release from the lumber.
