How should I go about adding pea gravel to surface concrete?

If you are working with a smaller piece of concrete, you can dig out half of the soil foundation, and shovel in the pea gravel. Replace larger slabs.

Pea gravel should be put in the mix prior to laying the concrete. Unless this is a big job, quick mixes such as ready mix may work best for pea gravel. If you only want the gravel on the surface, try raking it into the mix.

It is achieved with chemical agents. The way to have a contractor perform an overlay on your existing slab, and scatter pea gravel evenly over the surface, mix it overlay.
