How painful is it to have your teeth pulled?

It's fairly painful and pretty traumatic. Usually you have a lot of anesthesia before you get them pulled, but as it all wears off, you will feel a sore, dull ache in your jaw and the gums will be tender. I recommend keeping your favorite painkiller on hand, or getting a strong one from the dentist.

Well it will hurt somewhat. Since they numb your gums you will not really feel it when they pull them. I have had lots of teeth pulled and as long as I did what the dentist said I was fine.

With today's modern anesthesia's and pain medications, teeth-pulling can be a close to pain-free and fairly quick operation. The residual pain after the procedure will most likely be the cause of any discomfort

It can be pretty painful depending on the tooth and the root of the tooth. The condition also has a lot to do with it. I would recommend being on some kind of pain pill. Your dentist should have an idea for what is best for you.

Although this is not a fun procedure, you should feel minimal pain during the process. If you are awake during the extractions, you will be given a topical anesthetic to numb the area. If you are asleep, you will be given a general anesthetic and should be unaware of anything happening during surgery.

During the procedure all you can feel is a bit of pressure and tugging because your dentist numbs the area. Afterward when it wears off it can hurt quite a bit. However it starts to feel better after a day or two. If you take proper care of your mouth afterward you won't get dry socket which is really painful.

When we have our teeth pulled it is painful but it is difficult to say how moch painful it is. Because it really just depends on each person and situation and always works out best when we follow doctors order.
