Although it may differ from state to state the age requirements are normally twenty five years of age with a current drivers liscense. A credit card may also be required. If you are planning on renting a uhaul truck, you should contact the local office and check with them on the age requirements.

You only need to be 18, with 2 forms of I.D. and a valid drivers license, You'll need to purchase renters insurance as well.

In my experience you have to be a minimum of 21 to rent a u haul truck and in most cases a deposit or a credit card will be required for verification. This may not be true in all states but is in maine and i have rented at least three u hauls in the past four years.
