When considering the length of time you have to change the wiper blades on your vehicle you need to think of were you live and how dry or wet it is. Experts give an estimate of six months to a year, but dry weather can make it sooner.

The rule of thumb is if the rain streaks are more than 3" long replace them. In the pacific north west this usually happens two weeks after installation.

Well if you use them a lot then they probably need to be changed once a year. However if the stop clearing the windshield then they should be replaced.
