Most people recommend that you change the brake fluid every few years to be safe. The now have testing strips to let you know if your fluid definitely needs changed.

flushing must be done when you change the repair kits brake cylinder repairs should carefully done any type of particles in the brake fluid will block the movement of fluid so pressure transfer to the cylinder and from there to the brake shoes or disk will fail and it may end in a big accident because of brake fail
