A vehicle's antifreeze is the most overlooked thing during maintenance. Your antifreeze should be changed between 30 and 60 thousand miles depending on how the car is driven, what its being used for and the climate of where you live.

At the very least once every two years. I like to flush mine every year. Because of compatibility issues with different kinds of antifreeze, I like to use Prestone's yellow "All makes, all models" coolant.

Antifreeze should be flushed at least 2 to 4 times a year. It is best to flush antifreeze before each season especially prior to the hot summer months and the cold months of winter. Other times to change antifreeze is if it starts to become dirty looking or when you have radiator problems.

Every car owner should flush the antifreeze one time per year. This will help you extend the life of your car. The best way to do this is drain the antifreeze and refill with new.

The antifreeze in a vehicle will need to be flushed out about every 3 to 5 years depending on the quality of the antifreeze and the quality of the cooling system. Older systems will build up residue which could clog the system and should be flushed more often then new systems.

Most people recommend it be flushed every few years. If you still have a manual check it should tell you when to change the coolant.

I think the standard interval for a coolant flush is every two years. Just make sure to flush with purified water for the best results. Also make sure that the entire system is free of air pockets when you fill it back up. Use a distilled deionized water to mix with the coolant to prevent corrosion in the system.
