How much money can you make working in the cafeteria for a school district?

I need work that pays a living wage.

Most school cafeteria jobs pay minimum wage or slightly higher though you may have access to decent benefits. The only school cafeteria staff who might make a higher wage would be the kitchen manager, head cook, or other supervisor. A private school may pay higher wages than a public school for all o its staff.

You're not going to get rich. Here in South Carolina, cafeteria workers make less than teachers, and teachers don't make a whole lot. You can improve your paycheck through tenure or promotion. Cafeteria managers make a pretty decent living. An advantage is that most days you're done in time to work at another part time job.

I can make $2 by working in cafe. But it will not be that much sufficient for a living wage. You should check out in your living area how much they pay in cafe.
