How much is it to fix a stuck thermostat?

Not much, this is a fairly simple repair. I would say at most probably 50 dollars if the repair man is really trying to hose you.

A programable unit is available from any home improvement store for under $50. They are simple to install and will pay for themselves in a short time. The average home owner should be able to replace one in an hour or less. A standard bi-metal (nonprogramable) thermostat is another option.

It cost me $25. 00 to fix my thermostat. I did some research before I decided to go ahead with it, and found that it was a bargain.
