You can buy a BMX bike suitable for doing tricks from $120 to $900. The low end ones are really just for kids, A decent one will cost in the $350 range. The things to look for are: alloy frame, a three-piece crank, sealed bearings and an integrated headset.

There is a website called danscomp that sell professional bmx bikes like a DK made in 2011 from about $270.00 to $500.00. They also have Black Eye Bikes that run anywhere from $200.00 to about $400.00.
