Question by  Kinetic (47)

How much does it cost to have an exterminator remove a beehive?

This hive freaks me out, and I don't want to go near it. I just want to have a guy come over and make the entire problem disappear.

If you are sure they are bees and not some other kind of flying insect, like wasps, call a local beekeeper instead of an exterminator. Bees are valuable, and many beekeepers will remove them for free. Bees are beneficial insects. You really don't want to kill them, and relocating the hive is a win for everyone!

Exterminator's rates vary on the type of Hive and the location in which you need the help. But I would be prepared to spend between 75-150 dollars for the removal of the beehive.

There are many diff comps out there that will help you with the situation. The cost shouldnt be of concern because the danger of the situation needs to be removed alltogether. u can call around and see the costs for certain companies but mine was around 80 dollars for the days work and cleanup.

The cost depends on where the hive is located and where in the country you are located. You might contact a beekeeper. Depending on the type of bees, a beekeeper may be willing to come and take the hive for free. It is a good idea to involve a professional. Don't fool with it yourself.

Honestly your community may have a bee comittee. They will remove it for free and take the bees to produce local honey.

Call anyone in your area that sells honey. Many will come and 'capture' the hive or swarm for free. Bees are incredibly important to agriculture. Don't kill them.
