I recall seeing an article some years ago that said most households have anywhere from three to four television sets. That number goes up depending on the number of children living in the household. Tough economic times as of late might lead to less televisions in the house. People simply won't be able to afford them.

Most American households on average have several television sets. I would assume for a family of four that there would be 3 television sets. One in the family/living room, one in the parent's bedroom, and one in either a children's bedroom, or playroom. Televsion is definitely a priority on most households today.
