How many push ups should I do a day?

I am trying to build my chest muscles.

Start by doing 10 when you wake up, 10 at lunch and 10 at bedtime, then work your way up every week, by adding five more each week.

While building your chest muscles, should do initially 350 push ups and should increase it till 500-600 push ups daily than after continuing for some months you can reduce it 200-300 push ups daily. When going to start push ups,do as much push ups in one stroke and your chest muscles will built very fast and it will last long.

You should do as many pushups as you can at time once in the morning, once in the afternoon, and once in the evening. If you can find more time you could do even more.

Building chest muscles requires a steady regimen which includes various chest exercises such as bench press, incline press, push ups, etc. Work out your chest twice a week max.

I am 70 years old and do 600 push-ups a day, do you think I should cut that back maybe to 400. I also work out with weights 5 days a week and do spinning classes 3 days a week.

I think you should do at least 30 a day. If you can't do theat its ok just work up to it. You do do knee pushus they do help
