For hardy sandwiches, I would use half a pound of meat per sandwich. For skimpier sandwiches, I would use 1/3 of a pound.

A fairly generous sandwich has about 3. 5 ounces of meat. You'll need just under 22 pounds to make 100 of them.

I would feel safe with 25 pds. Around 1/4 pound for each person. You might use less if you serve tomatos, lettuce and cheese.

Using my rule of thumb, which is 4 ounces (one quarter pound) of meat per sandwich, you would need 25 pounds.

It is dependent upon how thick you would like for the sandwiches to be. If you want them to be of generous helping, the poundage should be consistent to that.

It also depends on the size of the bread. Are you using regular sandwich bread or fancy rolls?
