A bottle generally contains 750ml, or 25 ounces and a bottle is also generally good for four glasses of wine. That means roughly 6 ounces per glass of wine.

When I worked in a restaurant, we were instructed to only pour four ounces of wine per glass. This was not due to calories per glass, but for the wine to breath, and if they didn't buy the bottle then they bought another glass. Two glasses of wine at $7.00 a glass adds up quickly.
