Usually, traditionally, 88 keys, 36 black keys and 52 white keys covering seven octaves and a minor third, although there are variations. Some older pianos only have 85 keys, and the Boesendorfer piano company from Hammond Indiana produces a 96-key version. The extra keys have a little wooden lid to cover them up to avoid disorienting unsuspecting pianists. (True! )
You are not telling the truth. There are indeed 88 keys; but this comprises of 36 black keys & 52 white keys. Go & check it out again!!
