There are three main Hindu gods. Those are Brahma, Vishnu and Shiva. All other "gods" or devas are avatars of them, together they are called the Trimurti, means the three aspects of divine supreme power. Among the Trimurti Vishnu and Shiva are worshipped the most. The most popular god Krishna is just one of the avatars of Vishnu.
