How many hamsters can live comfortably in a Critter Trail Two habitat?

I would only have two hamsters in the base Critter Trail 2 Habitat. If you have three, they feel crowded and get stressed out. The good thing abou Critter Trail is that you can add attachments. I suggest you add some attachents to creat more space. If you can do that, 3 hamsters should be just fine.

If you have more than two hamsters in a two-habitat cage, three would be crowded. Males do not generally get along unless they were raised together. Attach an extended cage to the original or separate the fighting males with a screen, to get them used to each other's scent.

Hamsters can live together happily in small areas especially in a critter trail. They tend to be more atice when in an evironment that has alot of activities for them to have fun. The critter trail only adds to this.

I wouldn't even keep one hamster in their habitats. The one I had was only just barely large enough for my full-grown pet mouse, and those are smaller than hamsters.
