How long will it take for my tattoo to heal?

Everybody has a different healing rate, and every part of your body is going to heal differently. The more skin that is covered by the tattoo (where the lines are, and where the color is actually filled in), the longer it will take. If you want to try to estimate time-frame, sunburns are a very good comparison.

It should take about a week to 10 days. It is a good idea to keep putting tattoo balm or triple anti-biotic ointment on it the whole time. (Enough to keep moisturized,but not too heavy) This will prevent scabbing,which can sometimes cause a loss of color in your tattoo.

That depends on where you got it. Diffrent places on the body can take longer ot heal. Your arms which is a common place heal pretty quick. Your Artist should tell you about how long it takes to heal.

Tattos take between 7 - 10 days to heal (as long as they are not in a place that gets rubbed), as long as a scab takes to heal.

It will take a few days just make sure to keep it moist and clean do not pick at any skin or scabs that can form. When I had mine done my artist suggested that I sleep with saran wrap on the site so it would not dry out.
