Be careful not to cook corn on the cob too long as it will get tough and flavorless. Cook the corn as soon as possible by putting it in a large pan of cold water over high heat. Bring to a boil, then remove from heat and cover the pan for a minute or two, then serve.

If you're talking about corn on the cob, it depends on how you like your corn. If you like it sweet and crunchy, you can just barely warm it up by boiling for about a minute. If you want it to taste more "cooked", but still sweet, don't go over 7 or 8 minutes.

Depending on the size of the cob, I boil mine any where from 10 to 15 minutes. Start at the lower number and add time for softness.

Boiling corn is a very simple task, but if you're not careful, it can become too soggy. Shuck your corn and remove all of the silk. Let your water come to a complete boil and add the corn stalks. Let it boil from five to twelve minutes, depending on how soft you like your corn.

The corn should be boiled so long as it becomes good to eat; nearly it takes about 25 to 30 minutes.
