Most service manuals recommend that an oil cooler hose be changed every 60,000 miles. In reality, they usually last much longer than that and most people will not have them changed until they leak or rupture. It's a pretty expensive job to have somebody go through the labor intensive job of replacing an oil cooler hose if it's fine.

An oil cooler hose should last indefinitely however in some conditions it could be subject to damage in such a case the life of an oil cooler hose could be reduced to about six or so months keeping this in mind it is important to ensure your oil cooler hose is not being worn out.
